Position Summary:

We are seeking a very talented Senior Engineer to join our Front-end Process Development team and lead process development of thermal and chemical treatments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Optimize thermal and chemical treatments of thin films on glass
• Analyze and report results to peers and upper management
• Develop methods to deliver thermal and chemical treatment
• Assist in design of custom equipment

Skills and Experience:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience developing thermal treatment techniques
• Process development and optimization experience, formal SPC training desired

Ideal candidate will also have:

• Computational fluid dynamics modeling experience
• Large area glass processing with electronic devices (e.g. thin film solar, flat panel displays, electrochromics)
• Experience scaling up process from R&D to pilot and/or manufacturing
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability, effectiveness and growth in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and creatively solve problems.
• Ability to use standard office applications (Word, Excel, Email)
