Position Summary: Substrate preparation and cleaning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Optimization of R&D substrate cleaning and surface preparation process
• Development of Pilot Scale substrate cleaning and surface preparation process
• Ownership of glass preparation – laser marking, scribing, quality assurance

Skills and Experience:

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• Experience with glass or wafer cleaning or etching
• Experience handling large glass (>1 sq meter)
• Process development and optimization experience, formal SPC training desired

Ideal candidate will also have:

• Large area glass processing with electronic devices (e.g. thin film solar, flat panel displays, electrochromics)
• Experience scaling up process from R&D to pilot and/or manufacturing
• Experience operating a variety of cleaning, etching, and surface preperation tools
• Six Sigma Green Belt
